Original Zoo Magazine, Issue 54, dated 18-24 February 2005. A classic mid-2000s UK men’s weekly with a particularly strong glamour/model line-up alongside football, sport, entertainment, humour and topical features.

The main cover feature is a brand-new Kelly Brook shoot, with Kelly dominating the front cover and appearing again inside in a dedicated photographic feature. The contents page specifically lists Kelly Brook on page 26, promoting new pictures and an accompanying interview/article.

Another major feature is the six-page Leilani & Jodie “Question Time” section, shown clearly in the supplied interior photographs. The spread combines glamour photography with a question-and-answer format and is presented as a substantial dedicated feature within the issue.

Models / Glamour Features

Visible and specifically identified in the supplied images include:

  • Kelly Brook – principal cover model and major interior feature.
  • Leilani – featured prominently in the six-page question-and-answer section.
  • Jodie – appears alongside Leilani in the same extended feature.
  • Sarah Cawood is also listed within the photographed contents page as part of the magazine’s girls section.

The photographed Kelly Brook interior spread shows her posed in red lace lingerie as part of the issue’s main glamour feature, while the Leilani and Jodie section uses a darker studio-style presentation with extensive full-page and double-page imagery.

Magazine Contents

This is not simply a glamour issue; the photographed contents page shows the broad mix of material Zoo was known for during this period.

Other features include:

  • 8-page Champions League special, including team-by-team coverage.
  • Football discussion involving John Terry and other major clubs/players.
  • Six Nations coverage.
  • Boxing imagery and sporting features.
  • Cars, including a prominent Bentley feature.
  • Films, music, games and television coverage.
  • Regular humour, jokes and Jimmy Carr material.
  • A topical conspiracy theories special.
  • General news, entertainment and lifestyle content.

This issue is a strong example of the early Zoo format, mixing glamour photography with football, sport, cars, popular culture and comedy.
