Cover Design

The front is built around the luminous blue figure of Dr Manhattan, surrounded by a black atomic motif containing monochrome imagery connected with Watchmen. It is an attractive contemporary piece of promotional material from the period when Watchmen was one of the year's most heavily anticipated comic-book adaptations.

Condition

Pre-owned magazine in good overall condition for its age, with visible signs of normal handling and storage.

The front cover remains bright, clean and strongly coloured, with the main artwork and lettering presenting well. There are light surface marks, rubbing and fine scratches visible across the darker areas of the cover, particularly around the large black Total Film masthead and blue background.

There is some minor edge and corner wear, including light rubbing around the lower edge and corners. The bottom-right area shows a small amount of handling/curvature rather than lying completely flat, and there is minor wear along the outer right edge.

No major front-cover tears or severe creasing are apparent from the supplied image.

Overall, this remains a very presentable collectible copy, particularly suitable for Watchmen, superhero-film, DC and Total Film collectors.
