Original FHM Magazine – September 2015, featuring Amy Willerton as the main cover star in a distinctive retro-inspired issue built around a return to 1990s culture, alongside models, lifestyle features, motoring, food, football and entertainment.
The front cover is dominated by a large photograph of Amy Willerton, with the headline “We’re Going Back To The Nineties!” The styling deliberately references 1990s fashion, with bright pink and blue typography, denim shorts and an overall colourful retro presentation.
This is a particularly good issue for collectors interested in Amy Willerton, FHM, 1990s nostalgia and mid-2010s men’s lifestyle magazines.
Magazine Highlights
The photographed contents page confirms a varied selection of features throughout the September 2015 issue.
Amy Willerton receives one of the main features, titled around her taking on the 1990s. The contents describe the piece as looking back at the decade that brought Britpop, TFI Friday and other major elements of ’90s popular culture, with Amy Willerton forming the visual centrepiece of the feature.
Also clearly featured is Natalie Loren, appearing early in the magazine in the “Would Wife” section. The photographed opening spread shows a full-page portrait alongside a feature titled “How To Make It In Los Angeles”, discussing life in LA, entertainment and celebrity culture.
Other visible features include:
- Amy Willerton – 1990s-themed feature, one of the main attractions of the issue.
- Natalie Loren – dedicated introductory glamour/lifestyle feature.
- Modern Trends Explained – looking at contemporary trends and internet/hashtag culture.
- New Season, New Job – football-related feature about careers within the sport.
- Banger Racing – a substantial motoring feature with an enthusiast pictured alongside a prepared race car.
- Best Lager investigation / Lager World Cup – a feature comparing and judging different beers.
- Breakfast feature – looking at ways to improve breakfast, also heavily promoted on the front cover as “35 Ways To Make Breakfast Brilliant.”
- Vegetarian food feature.
- Broader fashion, lifestyle and entertainment material.
The magazine offers a strong snapshot of British men's lifestyle publishing in 2015, mixing models and celebrity photography with humour, food, motoring, football, fashion, nostalgia and general-interest features.

Condition
Pre-owned vintage magazine with visible but generally moderate signs of handling and storage.
The front cover remains bright and attractive, with the main Amy Willerton image and typography presenting well. There is some light surface rubbing/marking, particularly noticeable against the pale background.
There is visible edge and corner wear, including minor rubbing along the bottom and side edges and some slight softening/bumping to the corners. The spine edge also shows light wear consistent with normal reading and storage.
The magazine has a little waviness/curvature rather than lying completely flat, which can be seen in the photographs.
Internal pages shown appear clean, colourful and firmly attached, with normal page curvature from being opened for photography. The Natalie Loren feature and contents pages remain well-presented.
The rear cover, featuring an American Ultra cinema advertisement, shows general light surface and edge wear. The spine and lower edge show some rubbing but remain intact in the supplied photographs.
No obvious writing, major tears or large areas of loss are visible from the supplied images.
Please inspect all photographs carefully, as they show the exact magazine offered and form an important part of the condition description.
