Condition Report:
This vintage Enjoying MG magazine is in good used condition with visible age-related handling wear. The front cover remains bright and attractive, showing a classic MG car display scene with the MG Owners Club badge clearly visible. There is light surface rubbing, mild cover marks, minor edge wear, small corner wear and some general storage wear, all consistent with a used motoring club magazine from 2001.
The spine appears intact and secure, with some rubbing and reading stress visible along the edge. Internal pages appear clean, readable and firmly attached, with light page-turn marks and normal handling wear. The contents pages are clear and well preserved, with strong MG Owners Club information, feature listings and period club contact details.
Overall, this is a very presentable collector’s copy for MG enthusiasts, club magazine collectors and classic British car fans. Not showroom fresh, obviously, because paper does this deeply inconvenient thing called ageing.
✨ THE CAR FEATURES & HIGHLIGHT CONTENT:
🚗 MGF Servicing Feature:
A key technical feature is “Servicing the MGF”, covering oil and filter change guidance. This gives the issue practical appeal for MGF owners, restorers and enthusiasts who enjoy period ownership material rather than relying entirely on the internet, that chaotic garage floor of humanity.
🚗 California’s Mr MG / Presnell Feature:
The contents show a feature on “California’s Mr MG”, covering Kjell Qvale and introducing the MG TC to the West Coast of America. This gives the issue strong international MG history interest.
🚗 MG News / MG Sportswagon:
The issue includes MG News, with visible mention of the World Cup Rally and the new MG Sportswagon. Good period content for collectors following MG Rover-era developments.
🚗 MGF Part One / Oil and Filter Change:
The magazine includes a practical MGF servicing article, specifically marked as Part One, focused on oil and filter change. Useful collector content for owners of MGFs and early-2000s MG Rover cars.
🚗 MG ZT / Rally Adventure Content:
The contents mention “Taking the Old Girl to Budapest”, described as David Wilks on a rebuild and rally. This includes MG ZT automatic reference, adding MG ZT and rally/touring appeal.
🚗 Harrogate 2001 / Northern National:
The issue features Harrogate 2001, covering the Northern National MG gathering at Beverley Park, Pateley Bridge. A strong piece for MG Owners Club event history collectors.
🚗 Surrey 2001 / Southern National Event:
The contents page includes Surrey 2001, showing MGs at the Southern National event at Leatherhead. This is another strong MG show/event archive feature.
🚗 A Weekend at the Races / Goodwood Revival:
The magazine includes a Goodwood Revival feature, described as old-world charm of classic motor racing. Excellent crossover interest for classic motorsport and Goodwood collectors.
🚗 Octagonal Gem in Watford / Abingdon MG PA:
